ok, been a long long time since i last blogged. haven't been blogging due to hectic life (at least to me) not due to nothing happening. so many things happened, lazy to mention it. really tired now.

anyway, had the most wild and fun new year day with my friends. definitely an unforgettable experience. first time seeing friend going crazy due to alcohol, first time getting so little sleep and still awake and many other first time. too many to mention. didn't really take alot of photos.

peiwen, seb and me got so bored waiting for 2009 to come and had to resort to doing mindless thing-.-

no more photos for today. should have taken more but too bad. lol. had a really fun day. but i think 'cause i'm so tired now, the description of the day seems boring. i think you all should go to jo's blog to get a more exciting version of the story. oh, before i forget, after playing monopoly with desmond, i realise that he's a rather unscrupulous and scheming person.

get my driving license
try getting drunk!! but i bet it'll be extremely difficult because i really hate the taste of alcohol. so how do i make myself drink enough of it so that i'll get drunk?

ok, I had a really fun day with my family. it's been a long time since we went out together to do silly things like this. totally looking forward to another outing like this. and my sister suggested that we should organise a get-together with our childhood friends. sounds good, but who's going to plan it?

anyway, the day started with me whining to go eat at clark quay. however, my dear elder sister minds going to a far away place to eat, despite my mom driving. so, we settled to go lot 1 with my brother first to the money exchanger, go trade in jeans for a $50 off a levis jeans. set my eyes on 2, couldn't decide which to get. and so, you guessed it, i got both. but i made my sister pay for one of them, insisting that it's worth her money (of course, I'll wear it occasionally). then, my sister went to the sea horse shop to get her new mattress. and the funny thing was, as my sister was choosing her mattress, i saw a poster saying that they're hiring and off i went to inquire about the post. bad news is, the guy said i have to go to century square (at tampines) for interview. any kind soul out there willing to accompany me there?=D

after we're done with business at lot 1, we headed down to bukit timah for extremely nice chicken rice at a reasonable price. seriously nice, calling to joanna and company, can we go there some day=)

ok, the highlight of the day is after dinner. mass grocery shopping at cold storage after dinner!!! went there 'cause my sister has a $200 voucher. we went to the one at bukit timah (near ngee ann polytechnic) and picked everything we deemed useful to make living more comfortble, and ended up with a bill around $230. and since the car park there has incentive of free 1st hour, we rushed out of cold storage, loaded everything as quickly as we could into the car boot and i ran to put the cart back and ran back to car as quickly as my short legs could carry me (and almost slipped and fell in the process). as soon as i'm on the car, my mom chiong to the exit, passed me the cash card (quite a backward car park, has to insert the cash card into the machine for the gate to open) to hasten the process of getting out of caar park. and what can be worse than my mom stopping earlier than she should, and i had to stick half my body out of the car to insert the card, and knock my head against the roof of the car on the way in-.- first time in our family history doing such silly things, but it was fun. looking forward to more of such silly events in future=)

this is the amount of things we bought. for those people who came to my house before should know the size of my kitchen. ya. lol.

ps to best friend: i didn't eat the prawn noodle before, no idea it's that salty. sorry. and sorry for being so late. but you still owe me a treat.

as we planned before, we celebrated ben yeo's birthday today. we went to avon's house to bake cake, then asked ben yeo to come. well, the process of baking cake was not that good. we girls who consist of me and joanna know nuts about baking, washing and etc, and all the boys who know how to do all of them, made us do everything!! ok, maybe not everything, quite a few of it. and so, since we do not know how, and can't do the things properly, we sort of flared up. anyway, the cake was a success. and i was winner for card game. my luck was good today, but hope i didn't use up all of it=x

i wanted to blog about yesterday's outing yesterday night, but couldn't bring myself to do it the moment i saw my bed.

ok, anyway, bunch of us went cycling to jalan kayu for prata, on my request. i wanted it mainly because i haven't tried the prata there before. i'm really sorry people=x

the trip to jalan kayu was rather scary. first, desmond led us a huge round around yishun. then, finally we left yishun and entered the scariest part of the journey. we had to cycle off pavement, on the road, alongside huge trucks and speeding cars. felt so small when the trucks went pass us, and i suddenly wish that i'm in my mother's car instead of on an unprotected bicycle. after the long and treacherous journey (which my mom will never find out. i don't want her to die of heart attack) on road, we finally reach our destination. locked our bicycle at the but stop and went for dinner.

made our order at the counter and the food were finished as soon as they arrived. we're hungry ghost=) and avon made the comment that as long as there's him, desmond, joanna and me around, there'll be food. quite true. haha. after the prata, we went for dessert at a dou hui stall. nice dou hui there, but i still prefer the one at geylang. people, can we go geylang for our next outing?

made our way back after the dessert 'cause it was quite late already. and i seriously prefer the route we took to go back. it was alot easier and less stressful. there's pavement for us to follow all the way. but then again, it won't be as fun if not for the ride on the road. ironic=x

round of applause to desmond for showing the man side of him (extremely rare occurrence) when he helped carry bikes over the railing.
also, a moment of silence for the poor snail that ben yeo killed on the way back. the snail was trying to crawl across the pavement, and was in the middle of the pavement when we approached. avon and me managed to avoid it, and shortly after i cycled pass it, i heard a loud sound behind me. ben yeo crashed it.
last but not least, thank you best friend for lending me your bike.and sorry for making you come out to collect your bike after you bathed.

this post will be dedicated to desmond tan. a million thanks to you for helping me carry the heavy and bulky cpu all the way from sim lim to my house, and helping me to fix it up. really really thanks alot. or not i won't be able to use it like now. haha. anyway, i got connected to the customer service almost straight away. i think they just prefer me. opps=x best friend, won't throw you away when you ord;)

disappointed in my other best friend. tsk tsk.

ok, been a long time since i last blogged. stopped blogging at first due to A level, no time to blog. by the time i want to blog, my computer died on me. yes, computer spoilt. JOANNA CHE YONG TIAN, STOP RUBBING IT IN!

life after exam feels rather empty. at least my friends are helping to fill the emptiness. been going out with friends. highlights, shopping right after biology paper, went mahjong session with secondary school friends (or rather play the role of santa, giving out money), went buckaroo with friends and drank a huge cup of beer to earn myself a free meal (but i did pay $10 la, not so cheapskate), and baby-sitting my niece today-.- i think looking after kids is a real tough job. three cheers to all parents!

that basically summarizes what i did. and no pictures folks. computer down. sad=(

ok, i have wasted the entire day on sleeping. should have stayed back in school with sharon. anyway, a shall blog about this week before i continue on my work.

i'm officially 18 this year. looking forward to watch a m18 movie, but never am i going to watch mirror. i don't want to spend money to scare myself ever again. hope another m18 show will come out real soon. anyway, i want to watch mamma mia, any one interested?

ok, that's all i remember. if i left out anyone and you're not pleased that i left you out, do inform me to include your name. didn't mean to forget, but my memory is really failing me. haha

and people have been asking me how i spent my birthday. i basically spent the entire morning of my birthday in school having lesson, then the entire afternoon stuck in classroom doing math time trial, evening with my family eating, and the night doing homework and sleeping after that. that's how i spent my 18th birthday=) not very exciting but at least i did some homework=x

i seriously think that seb, sharon and me are pretty silly. we stood outside a shop in yishun (the one near the basketball court) trying to discuss the time we should meet today. as we discussed, we saw a weird looking photo outside a shop i assume to be some spa shop. bewildered by the weirdness of the photo, we tried to make out what it's showing. seb, got the photo first, and started pointing and explaining to me and sharon what the photo is all about like a teacher trying to teach his students some concept. silly us.
